Advanced Retinal Imaging Services
Using the most cutting-edge technology, we can more accurately identify and treat eye disease and conditions including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and optic nerve damage from glaucoma.
Our retinal imaging procedures only takes a few minutes to complete and there is no discomfort. The results are viewed instantly and your optometrist will discuss the findings with you. These images then become a permanent part of your eye health record. This allows comparison over time to detect subtle changes in your eye health.
OCT Scanning
OCT Scanning – Optical Coherence Tomography or OCT, as it is more commonly known, is a sophisticated scanning system that produces highly detailed images of the internal structures of the eye. It is similar to an ultrasound, allowing your optometrist to view 3D cross sectional images of the retina, the innermost layers of your eyes. Other procedures only show the surface of these structures, while an OCT reveals what is below the surface.
Central Retinal Imaging
Central retinal imaging is a recent technological advancement in eye care. It enables your optometrist to capture a high definition digital image of the macula, blood vessels and optic nerve located at the back of your eyes.
Optomap Ultra-Widefield Imaging
Optomap Ultra-Widefield Imaging - Optomap ultra-widefield imaging is the only technology that can provide a wide view (up to 230 degrees) of your retina at one time. It is a quick and easy way to detect retinal problems, such as retinal holes, retinal detachments, diabetic retinopathy, and even cancers, that may develop in the peripheral retina, often without needing to dilate the pupils.
