Kelly Gibbons
Optometrist/Director
Kelly is an Optometrist & has owned Wodonga Eyecare since 2004. She loves Optometry & the challenge of diagnosing & treating eye disease. She has special interests in therapeutics, children’s vision & shooting vision. What she really loves is seeing her loyal customers & having a good chat! She has lived in the North East for 14 years & is lucky to have found such a great place to raise her kids. She enjoys riding her horse Stan, living out near the Hume Dam & working with a dedicated & good humoured bunch of people at Wodonga Eyecare.

Dr Kaavya Nair
Optometrist
Kaavya Nair graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Monash University and went on to complete her post graduate Doctor of Optometry degree at The University of Melbourne. She enjoys all aspects of optometry, however has a keen interest in anterior eye disease, dry eye management and rigid contact lenses. She likes how optometry can change lives in many different ways whether that means someone's first pair of glasses or prescribing drops to fix up a red eye. She is currently part of the Early Careers Optometry Victoria and South Australia (ECOVSA) committee as she enjoys advocating for her fellow optometrists and getting involved in shaping the future of optometry. Outside of work Kaavya enjoys pilates, reading and a good cup of soy latte.

Matt Flaherty
Lead Dispenser
Matt has just clocked up 10 years working for Wodonga Eyecare. He previously managed Optical practices in Sydney and Melbourne, where he is originally from. Working for a private practise has been both stimulating and challenging for Matt. He feels lucky to be working at Wodonga Eyecare, where the opportunity for professional development is second to none, and the other staff are fantastic (no really!!). Building a long term rapport with our many patients has been particularly rewarding.

Janet Pauline
Reception/Optical Dispenser
Janet has been working at Wodonga Eyecare since July 2011. Since starting as a receptionist she has expanded her ability in the optical world to become one of the dispensers. She loves the challenge of finding the right frame for everyone and making sure everyone is very satisfied with their choice. In her spare time Janet has taken up going to the gym and walking and has a new lease on life, she also likes to rock and roll dance, and loves going on a Pacific cruise.

Alex Jones
Practice Manager/Optical Dispenser
Lex has been working as an Optical Dispenser at Wodonga Eyecare since early 2014. She completed her certificate IV in Optical Dispensing in Echuca in 2007. Lex has a great understanding of the optics and mechanics required to create successful prescription eyewear. She is passionate about finding the best eyewear solution for each individual patient. In her spare time, Lex enjoys spending time with her husband and two young kids.

Belinda Mayne
Optical Dispenser
Over seven years Belinda has worked in an administrative capacity and is now a fully qualified Optical Dispenser. She would love to assist in your frame and lens selection. Helping people find a frame they love is one of the favourite parts of her job. “It is up there with shoe shopping”, she says!
